Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and lead the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. u2022 Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger, ensuring precision and compliance. u2022 Coordinate and support financial statement audits, providing necessary documentation and resolving inquiries. u2022 Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring they align with accounting standards and organizational policies. u2022 Conduct account reconciliations to verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Develop and implement best practices for accounting procedures to improve efficiency and reliability. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations. u2022 Analyze financial data and provide insights to support informed decision-making. u2022 Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounting or financial management roles, with a focus on month-end close and general ledger oversight. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including GAAP. u2022 Familiarity with financial statement audits and the ability to manage audit processes effectively. u2022 Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries with attention to detail. u2022 Expertise in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies. u2022 Advanced proficiency in accounting software and tools. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset. u2022 Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
