Description A powerhouse litigation firm in Costa Mesa is seeking an experienced litigation secretary to join their team-oriented group of legal secretaries. The ideal litigation secretary will have 8+ years of experience in complex business law. Stability on the resume is a must. They want someone to join this team for the rest of their career Responsibilities of Role: + Working on silicosis cases: + eFiling in state, federal, and appellate courts (plus occasional filings under seal) + calendaring litigation deadlines (CompuLaw) u2013 no docketing department + trial preparation (binders, exhibits, etc.) u2013 office services department does the printing/tabbing + creating discovery shells and TOAs/TOCs - no word processing department Perks of Company: + There is a night secretary who can finish up work after hours. + Strong tenure.
