If interested call or text Edgar Gonzalez 209.395.2259 Responsibilities: u2022 Coordinate and execute essential accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliation for accounts such as cash, accounts payable, accruals, and intercompany transactions. u2022 Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to support informed decision-making. u2022 Manage cash flow processes, identifying opportunities to optimize working capital and improve financial efficiency. u2022 Oversee payroll accounting, ensuring accurate posting of payroll-related expenses, including labor costs, taxes, and benefits, while reconciling payroll systems to the general ledger. u2022 Maintain and update fixed asset records, ensuring proper classification, depreciation, and compliance with relevant policies and standards. u2022 Perform detailed inventory documentation and cycle counts, addressing variances and ensuring adherence to inventory control procedures. u2022 Facilitate the annual audit process by preparing required documentation and collaborating with external auditors. u2022 Develop and enhance internal accounting systems, programs, and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risk. u2022 Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations. u2022 Provide support for month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in general ledger and financial reporting. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. u2022 Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, including account reconciliation and financial statement preparation. u2022 Demonstrated experience with payroll accounting, fixed assets, and inventory management. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. u2022 Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively. u2022 Familiarity with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
