GENERAL PURPOSE: The Endpoint Engineering Senior Manager will be the leader of a team accountable for designing and implementing the standards for end-user devices and endpoint management systems for the Ross enterprise. This role requires a strong technical background in end-user compute form factors, endpoint management platforms and related security policies, as well as excellent leadership and project management skills. The base salary range for this role is $142,200 - $235,700. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: u2022 Lead a team of Engineers responsible for endpoint engineering and management, including desktop, laptops and mobile devices. u2022 Manage the recruitment, retention, and career development of team including managing, mentoring, and leading internal and external staff. u2022 Implement an enterprise-wide endpoint strategy for device provisioning, management, security, and support. This includes driving the design, deployment, and management of endpoint configurations, including OS imaging, patch management, and security updates. u2022 Maintain standards and certification for the end-user compute HW and related operating systems (Windows OS) and related enterprise applications. u2022 Maintain best practices for endpoint lifecycle management, from provisioning to decommissioning. u2022 Lead the planning and delivery of projects involving endpoint management, collaborate with other groups in IT, including business portfolio teams, security and support groups to align endpoint engineering strategies with broader organizational goals. u2022 Drive the evaluation, selection, and implementation of endpoint management tools and platforms. u2022 Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors. u2022 Define, develop and maintain strategic and tactical plans, negotiate projects, services and contracts with partners, service providers and consulting firms. u2022 Participate in strategic planning and annual budgeting process. u2022 Provide level 3 production support for endpoint management related issues. COMPETENCIES: People u2022 Building Effective Teams (for managers of People and/or Projects) u2022 Developing Talent (for managers of People) u2022 Collaboration Self u2022 Leading by Example u2022 Communicates Effectively u2022 Ensures Accountability and Execution u2022 Manages Conflict Business u2022 Business Acumen u2022 Plans, Aligns and Prioritizes u2022 Organizational Agility With particular emphasis on the following specific position-related competencies: u2022 Problem Solving u2022 Decision Making u2022 Dealing with Ambiguity u2022 Strategic Thinking QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: u2022 Undergraduate degree in information systems, computer science, or a related technical discipline. u2022 Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with a focus on endpoint engineering, systems administration, or IT operations. u2022 Minimum 5 years in leadership or management role, with experience managing teams of engineers. u2022 Strong technical background in end-user devices - desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile devices. u2022 Strong technical background in endpoint management solutions, operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android), mobile device management (MDM), and related management tools and authentication platforms (MS Intune, SCCM, Active Directory). u2022 Proven experience with automation and orchestration of endpoint provisioning, configuration, and management processes. u2022 Experience with virtualization, cloud technologies and modern enterprise environments (e.g., Azure, Office 365, W365). u2022 Understanding of endpoint security principles, including encryption and vulnerability management u2022 Strong project delivery skills, delivering projects on time and within budget. u2022 Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. u2022 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization, including IT leadership. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA: This position requires the ability to work in an office environment, including using a computer, attending meetings, working as part of a team, and the ability to communicate with team members and others. Regular attendance also is a requirement of the position. This role requires regular in-office presence, including attending in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback.
