SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP)

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work at a facility in Stockton , CA. These are _registry_ positions with our company. Pay Rate: $49 / hour 1099 Shifts Available: + Area: Medical OT-8HR Class: SLP Shift: 1 Start: 07:30:00 End: 16:00:00 Qualifications: + Minimum 1 year previous working experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Speech Language Pathologist + Ability to build rapport with patients + Compassionate and caring demeanor + Familiarity with medical terminology + CPR card issued by the American Heart Association + Must have up to date certification in the state of CA Responsibilities: + Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders. + Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients. + Performing screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. + Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events. + Keeping detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress. + Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
