Professional Land Surveyor / Project Manager

Your Opportunity As a Land Survey Project Manager, you will perform public record research and calculations to resolve property boundaries and rights of way; review survey technicianu2019s work and serve as project manager on various sized survey projects. The role of a project manager is to use their technical understanding and experience to lead a project team on various survey projects to deliver exceptional quality, maintain high client satisfaction, and manage project financials. Your Key Responsibilities - Plan, schedule, and coordinate the technical aspects of projects. - Responsible for survey calculations, analysis and final map checking, abstracting title data, record drawings research, and client relations. - Sign and seal survey documents. - Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, interfacing with clients on technical and surveying matters. - Works directly with project team members, to include registered surveyors, engineers, and technical and survey staff. - Coordinate activities of field crews, including providing job assignments, information, direction, and daily checking of work production. - Write descriptions of property boundary surveys for use in deeds, leases, or other legal documents. - Develop and manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedules. - Conduct quality assurance and quality control. - Foster a culture of collaboration by being both an effective team leader and player. - Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
