UTLA Center Facilities ManagementOn-site lead for facilities management, oversees purchasing andstockingofsupplies, stocking of Food Pantry supplies, maintainscleanlinessandorganizationofUTLACenter Submits maintenance requests and coordinates with maintenance and management teams for access to the UTLA CenterManages technology at the UTLA Center by working with IT staff in Austin and supervising installation of equipment and upgrades by LA vendorsManages access codes, access cards, and parking passes for students, faculty, and staffManages Center and room scheduling for both internal and external partiesManage on-site technical equipment, training faculty and ensuring classrooms are fully functional, troubleshoot technology issues to include Audio/Visual and other office equipment,coordinate solutions with UT Austin based IT staffAdministrative Support Develops new processes to categorize and streamline budgeting and purchasing for Center/Program in collaboration with Austin-based staffProcessesandmaintainsrecordsofbills, tax documents,procards, deposits and OOEFsWork with UT Austin staff to coordinate shipping and ordering of printing jobs, equipment updates and repairs, etc.Maintainsrecordsofstudentinformation, collects andtracksstudentpaperworkSupports efforts to track and network with UT and UTLA alumni working in the entertainment industryEvent SupportCorresponds with outside vendors to coordinate quotes and paymentCoordinatesapprovalofcontractsand billing through UT business and legal servicesHelps with setup and breakdown for all UTLA Program events, which may take place on weekends and eveningsManage special ad hoc projects assigned by Exec Director for UTLA, Moody Development team and Program DirectorBrings ideas, creativity, and support to theplanningofstudenteventsReceptionist Duties Responsible for opening and closing the UTLA Center on a regular schedule during the weekGreets students, faculty, staff, and visitors, answers phones, routes calls and messagesResponds as first point-of-contact for the program, answering questions or directing people to the correctpointofcontactGeneral Program SupportSupport students who need help with mental and physical well-being, providing resources and guidance while in LADevelops new systems, proposes new ideas, listens to feedback from students and helps the team at UTLA build a bigger and better program.Other duties as assigned
