Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a dynamic wealth management firm. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the accounting function while contributing to strategic initiatives for the firm. Qualified applicants can apply by sending your resume to Joe Ciavardini via LinkedIn or email me at : u2022 Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations. u2022 Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive review. u2022 Develop and manage budgets and cash flow projections to ensure financial stability. u2022 Coordinate tax documentation and filings while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. u2022 Strengthen internal controls and optimize accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency. u2022 Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including tracking updates and implementing best practices. u2022 Collaborate with the team to provide financial planning, tax coordination, and accounting services to high-net-worth clients. u2022 Contribute to system improvements and process enhancements to support the firmu2019s growth. u2022 Assist leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed. u2022 Provide strategic guidance on regulatory risks and compliance practice Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. u2022 A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, preferably within public accounting. u2022 Familiarity with wealth management, family office operations, or high-net-worth client services is highly desirable. u2022 Strong understanding of regulatory filings and compliance standards, including Form filings. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and advanced knowledge of Excel. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills. u2022 Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment. u2022 Proactive mindset with a commitment to contributing to organizational growth and success.
