Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description Rachel Miller with Robert Half is partnering with a company in the Capital Region on an Accounts Receivable Clerk role. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and ensuring client accounts are up to date. Responsibilities: u2022 Process client charges, payments, and deposits accurately and efficiently. u2022 Maintain and reconcile client accounts, ensuring all information is up to date. u2022 Research and resolve discrepancies in account records to maintain accuracy. u2022 Prepare monthly accounts receivable reconciliations and distribute them to program managers. u2022 Handle cash receipts and manage associated tasks within the Financial Edge system. u2022 Support the finance team by assisting with accounts payable checks impacting client accounts. u2022 Communicate effectively with team members and ask for assistance when needed. u2022 Collaborate with the contract manager to ensure smooth financial operations. u2022 Learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes as required. Requirements u2022 High school diploma or equivalent is required. u2022 Associate's degree in accounting or related field is preferred. u2022 Experience in not-for-profit accounting is highly desirable. u2022 Proficiency in computerized accounting systems is essential. u2022 Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are required. u2022 Familiarity with Financial Edge or similar accounting software is a plus. u2022 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. u2022 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
