Sr. Tax Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis. This role is focused on federal and state tax compliance, ensuring accurate preparation and reporting of tax returns. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and review federal tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. u2022 Handle multi-state tax filings and address related compliance requirements. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to perform corporate tax calculations, including depreciation and other adjustments. u2022 Utilize ASC 740 principles for tax provision and reporting purposes. u2022 Conduct thorough analysis and reconciliation using advanced Excel tools. u2022 Maintain proficiency in various tax software platforms to ensure efficient processing. u2022 Research and resolve complex tax issues, providing recommendations to management. u2022 Monitor changes in tax laws and incorporate updates into compliance processes. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in domestic and corporate tax compliance. u2022 Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax return preparation. u2022 Familiarity with ASC 740 and related tax provision processes. u2022 Expertise in depreciation calculations and adjustments. u2022 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. u2022 Hands-on experience with multiple tax software platforms. u2022 Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address complex tax matters. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
