Launch, manage, and optimize custom, local digital advertising campaigns across all major channels with groundbreaking efficiency and control. Your advertising strategies shouldnt be limited by technical constraints, resource limitations, and tedious, time-consuming tasks. Job Summary:The Director of Product is a natural leader and strategic collaborator with deep expertise in technical product management and strong business acumen. This role requires both visionary thinking and operational execution. As a people leader, youll guide the growth, structure, and success of the Product team while aligning cross-functional partners around shared outcomes, metrics, and priorities.Youll work closely with the executive team to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, drive innovation, and ensure our product strategy positions Fluency for long-term success. As a manager of Product Managers, you will provide mentorship, ensure team alignment, and help shape a high-performing, scalable product organization.Your Role:Determine the appropriate investment mix across product stability, scalability, new feature development, and future-proofing Fluencys competitive positioningClearly articulate Fluencys product strategy and competitive differentiators to internal and external stakeholdersConduct market research and identify revenue growth opportunitiesContribute to revenue modeling and pricing strategies for product offeringsCoach and develop Product Managers through regular performance management, feedback, and growth opportunitiesAssess team workload and capacity, ensuring resources are aligned with business prioritiesLead recruiting, hiring, and quarterly performance evaluation processes for your teamOversee effective adoption of new products and features through coordinated marketing materials and rollout plansCollaborate with business development, product engineering, marketing, and channel partners to understand and anticipate evolving client needsAct as an internal leader and strategic partner in solving complex business problems related to platforms, systems, and infrastructureConsult on large-scale cross-functional technical projects (e.g., major migrations, platform or infrastructure changes, architectural optimizations)Identify blockers or risks that may delay launches or impede product success, and proactively resolve themWork closely with technical leaders to ensure product development aligns with overall strategy and business goalsBuild and maintain strong relationships across the product development organization, emphasizing quality, reliability, and scalabilityContribute to internal training and education initiatives to ensure the team stays aligned with digital marketing trends and strategiesWhat We Look For: 10+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on platforms and systems5+ years of experience in digital advertising, e-commerce, or a related industryProven ability to lead and scale high-performing product teamsStrong strategic thinking and business analysis skills; MBA preferredAbility to prioritize and evaluate high-impact ideas in partnership with internal and external stakeholdersExperience managing large, complex product portfolios or cross-functional projectsDeep understanding of data-driven product development and current development methodologiesExcellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organizationWillingness to travel up to 20% for onsite team meetings and industry eventsFluency is headquartered in Vermont. This position is remote US based. If local, you have the option to go into the office.
