To accomplish this, you will work closely with various Infrastructure and Application Development teams, IT leaders, corporate departments, suppliers, and the operating groups.Key responsibilities include:Gaining knowledge of cost activity for assigned areaPartnering with management of assigned area to understand discrepanciesExecuting timely and accurate month-end closing processRecording and reviewing expenses, adjustments, and accruals for validity and escalating discrepancies to senior staff or manager for resolutionMaintaining established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standardsAnalyzing forecast vs. annual expenditures; identify and escalate variancesAnalyzing data to identify cost saving opportunitiesAssisting with task automation and process improvements, as directedCollecting data needed for annual forecastEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransRequired:Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureMust reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding areaMust be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilitiesMust meet one of the following education requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in AccountingMaster’s Degree in AccountingBachelor’s Degree in Business with a Concentration in AccountingBachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business, with experience as an Enterprise Accountant1+ years of related experienceIntermediate proficiency in Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables
