Our service-oriented mission is in action every day, whether it’s by providing care in our facilities, training the next generation of health care professionals, or serving others through international outreach.Kettering Health DaytonKettering Health Dayton, formerly Grandview Medical Center, has been providing care to Dayton and surrounding communities for over 90 years.Over 20 specialties, including orthopedics, heart and vascular, surgery, and trauma services.KH Dayton expanded their Emergency Department as well as their heart & vascular services to include an additional catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab.Partners with Gem City Market to provide fresh fruits and vegetables every Tuesday within the hospital.One of the largest osteopathic teaching hospitals in the United States.371 bed facilityOver the past several years, KH Dayton has received many awards, including: Top 100 HospitalPatient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades in 2019.Received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.The LPN performs a wide variety of patient care duties in preparation for the physician consultation.Physician assistancein delivery of special patient needs and procedures, including minor surgery.The LPN is responsible for:Takes blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respirationAssists patients any time need is apparent or as directed by physicianKeeps medical records in accordance to procedures and formsKeeps rooms stocked with adequate medical suppliesPrepares sterilization as requiredAny other duties relating to the business operation of the medical practice that may be assigned by the physician(s) or practice office manager.Job Requirements:Completed accredited program that meets nationally accepted standardsCurrent LPN license in the State of OhioCurrent CPR certificationExperience in medical environmentWillingness to accept orders and perform repetitive tasksAbility to communicate and relate well with office staff, ancillary departments and public, follow direction, accept orders and perform repetitive tasks, be patient, courteous and tactful.Able to work under time constraints, multi-task, and work autonomously with little direction.Must be able to maintain confidentiality
