Senior Cost Controller (Utilities)

For us lasting trusted relationships are everything, both with our teams and our clients.In this role you will:Create impactful cost control reports and analysis for the project leadership team, communicating trends, patterns and predictions through variance analysis, forecasting and Capex expenditure monitoringMonitor and evaluate project changes, ensuring variances in costs are captured in forecasting and reportingOversee the invoice processing and cost breakdown structure processes to ensure correct coding is utilized and accuracy is maintained on an ongoing basisOversee the monthly cost reconciliation process between Unifier and SAPActively participate in project team and functional meetings/workshops as requiredSupport the overall project by providing expert data analysis and presentations as requiredFoster top performance and growth for your team of cost controllers and cost analysts via excellent mentorship and leadershipWe would love to hear from you if you:Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business management or other related fieldHave grown your experience over 10 years working in cost control environments for largescale projectsAre an excellent communicator both verbally and in writingHave strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset to create balanced solutions and recommendationsAre systems savvy and have experience working with project management softwareLove a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlinesThrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and funAll interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
