Join our team and create the future of Linux Systems Engineering in National Security.You Have: Experience with administering Linux or UNIX systems, including RedHat or CentOSExperience with configuring and updating firewalls and routersExperience with applying Operating System patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrading administrative tools and utilitiesExperience with providing support to IT systems, including day-to day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution of all of client server, storage, or network devicesExperience with drafting technical requirements, engineering documents, configuration documents, training manuals, and troubleshooting processes, including updating as neededKnowledge of network/networking principlesKnowledge of systems and network security, auditing, and user authenticationTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphBachelor’s degree and 20+ years of experience with systems engineering or 25+ years of experience with systems engineering in lieu of a degreeNice If You Have:Experience with Vertias NetBackupExperience with Apache NiFiExperience with cloud computingExperience with analyzing and documenting system processes, build procedures and system infrastructureExperience with automated configuration managementExperience with troubleshooting standard daemons and toolsExperience with Linux-related shell scriptingExperience with NiFi operations and administrationExperience with using WLANs and VLANsClearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph clearance is required. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $190,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, sign-on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of full paid medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
