This role offers meaningful exposure to plant operations, inventory, and monthly close processes, with strong opportunities for professional development.Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and variance reportingMaintain and update standard cost data; support annual cost roll processesAnalyze manufacturing cost variances and prepare reporting for leadershipParticipate in physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory accountsMaintain accurate fixed asset records and support depreciation trackingReconcile general ledger accounts, including inventory and other key balance sheet itemsContribute to budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting activitiesCollaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reportingParticipate in internal/external audits and help ensure adherence to internal controls and GAAPBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2-5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing or cost accounting preferred)Strong Excel skills and comfort working with ERP/accounting systemsSolid understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentalsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred qualifications:CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA licensureExperience with Infor or similar ERP systemPrior involvement in inventory or fixed asset accountingExposure to operational or plant-level financial processesPhysical requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerOccasional lifting of files or paperworkOccasional travel to other ERMCO sitesJoin ERMCO andTRANSFORMyour career.Disclaimer:This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities, or working conditions associated with it.
