Human Resources Manager

Description Tyler Houk (Practice Director) with Robert Half is looking for a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Fresno, California. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead HR operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment, fostering a workplace culture that promotes safety, engagement, and growth. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring compliance, overseeing payroll, and supporting the development of a strong workforce. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage bi-weekly payroll processing for approximately 150 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Provide guidance and support to supervisors and employees regarding company policies, performance management, and workplace concerns. u2022 Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company safety and HR policies. u2022 Coordinate and implement training programs focused on safety, compliance, and employee development. u2022 Maintain employee records and data within HR systems, preparing reports as needed and streamlining administrative processes. u2022 Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries, leave administration, and related programs. u2022 Develop and support initiatives aimed at fostering a positive and high-performance workplace culture. u2022 Collaborate with plant leadership to address workforce needs and enhance employee engagement. u2022 Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion, ensuring HR processes align with company values. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. u2022 Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, agriculture, or a plant-based environment. u2022 Strong knowledge of HR regulations, best practices, and payroll processing systems. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. u2022 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization. u2022 Ability to problem-solve and make sound recommendations in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. u2022 Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
