Apartment Maintenance Worker

Express Employment in working with local apartment complexes here in Manhattan. They are seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Worker. Pay is $18/hr.Job Duties will include the following Must conduct General maintenance of resident units and common repairs. Preparing vacant units for move-in with such tasks as paintings, cleaning, and carpet cleaning. Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning. Complete inspections and tests, and maintain logs and records reflecting results. Perform maintenance on all security systems, fire alarms, and door locks. Adheres to schedule and takes assigned on call duties as directed. Provides assistance and direction on outside service and repair work. Performs landscaping duties as needed. Maintain grounds, parking lots, and driveways free of snow and ice. Clean common areas of property. Clean and deodorize bathrooms. Replaces toilet paper and paper towels. Remove trash from common areas and maintain dumpster area. Expectations: Units are in good repair and well maintained. Vacant units are readied for move-in. Common areas and grounds are kept clean. Preventative maintenance and repairs are performed in accordance with established standards and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Job SpecificationsMust have a high school diploma or equivalentMust have one - two years of maintenance experience.Knowledge of janitorial equipment and maintenance procedures.
