Weu2019re seeking an Electrical / I&C Engineering Intern to join our team in Columbus, OH. Youu2019ll have the opportunity to use your theoretical knowledge and apply it to solving todayu2019s challenges. As an Electrical / Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Intern you will work with a core group of electrical, instrumentation and control, water/wastewater engineers, and designers on water and wastewater facility designs and construction services support to deliver innovative solutions to challenging technical problems that our clients face. You will work collaboratively with our team to complete the following:u2022 Prepare designs and specifications for electrical systems and instrumentation and controls for water and wastewater facilitiesu2022 Development of process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and one line diagramsu2022 Electrical designs including low- and medium-voltage power distribution, lighting, emergency power systems, and control schematicsu2022 Technical report writingu2022 Construction services support In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills A strong interest in electrical or control system design.Ideally, youu2019ll also have: Working knowledge of computer aided drafting programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM A previous internship related to your field of study Ability to work in a multidiscipline team Self-driven time management and organizational skillsThis position will be open for at least 3 days.Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
