Job Summary:The Senior Financial Reporting Manager - IS is responsible for financial reporting, budget, and related analysis at Allegis Corporate Services ('ACS') and related entities. This role includes developing team members both technically and professionally, partnering with financial leadership to interpret and communicate financial performance, ensuring a timely and accurate monthly close with analysis, managing the annual budget process, year-end audit preparation, and overseeing special projects and initiatives.This individual will work closely with the Executive Director to manage the financial reporting process and to understand the general ledger structure for these entities in order to ensure that the accounting records and reports are in compliance with US GAAP. This individual should have a thorough understanding of the accounting cycle and associated processes.The Senior Financial Reporting Manager reports to the Executive Director of Finance.Required in-office presence at least 4 days per weekEssential Functions:Applies a strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls, including accrual accountingSupports the Accounting team in executing monthly close proceduresOversees detailed reviews of monthly financial statements for ACS and related entitiesOversees the allocation of corporate overhead expenses to subsidiaries and communicates changes in allocated expenses to subsidiaries' Finance leadersLeads the annual budget process through account analysis, managing the team's inputs, and reviewing estimates for reasonableness for multiple entitiesDelivers accurate and timely monthly financial analysis, reporting, and insightsCollaborates cross-functionally to support forecasting, planning, reporting, and analyticsOversees the preparation of monthly departmental budget vs actual reports and communicates with department leaders to help manage and understand corporate overhead spendManages, mentors, and evaluates Financial Reporting staffPartners with departments such as Tax, Treasury, Accounts Payable, and Procurement, as well as subsidiary Financial Reporting teamsLeads or contributes to ad hoc projects and strategic initiativesIdentifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy to financial reportingEvaluates and implements tools to support automation and scalabilityWorks with the EPM team to own the planning and budgeting pod/applicationMinimum Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent coursework)7+ years of experience in general ledger, financial reporting, or related fieldsPrior supervisory experience requiredPreferred: Public accounting/audit experiencePreferred: Experience with Oracle FCCS, EPBCS, HFM, Hyperion Planning, or similar EPM applicationsPreferred: Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft and/or Fusion and Smartview or similar ERP applicationsAdvanced Excel skillsSkills and Abilities:Strong understanding of financial accounting systemsResults-oriented with a customer service mindsetProven ability to lead and coordinate projectsAbility to compile, analyze, interpret, and present complex financial analysis and projectionsCapable of managing multiple priorities and team membersAbility to engage professionally across all organizational levelsSkilled in staff development and managerial oversightProfessional oral and written communication skillsCore Competencies:Build relationshipsDevelop peopleLead changeInspire OthersThink criticallyCommunicate clearlyCreate AccountabilityBenefits Overview:Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
