Our long-term outlook, institutional weight and global breadth provide our clients with a stable and reliable financial partner, whether in Corporate or Personal Banking or our Trade Services, Commodities, Financial Institutions and Global Markets lines of business.*To be eligible for campus recruitment program, you can only apply for 1 position within the U.S. Branches.This incumbent will provide support to the Audit Management in areas including on audit administration and management related to audit projects progression, vendor management, system access, budget control, trainings program etc., as well as HO and management metrics monitoring and reporting.Include but not limited to:Head Office Compliance & AuditsAssist with the coordination of Head Office audits and compliance requestsAssist in following up with outstanding audit issues related to Head Office audits and compliance requestsPrepare management reportsOperations ManagementProvide administrative support to audit teams under internal audit departmentRead and analyze incoming memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distributionAssist with the monitoring of deliverables assigned to internal auditPrepare correspondences (e.g. presentations, memos, graphs, reports) for the departmentReview and update departmental procedures as directedMaintain a filing system and update audit records in related systemsEstablish, develop, maintain and update library of trade journals, trainings and magazinesAssistant with the execution of Department training plan, including internal and external trainingPerform general office duties, maintain the fixed assets inventory and report any discrepancies to Team LeadVendor ManagementMaintain supporting documentation for all vendor proposalsConduct due diligence for vendors/consultantsExecute the vendor management process in accordance to the Bank’s vendor management policies and proceduresManage relationships with vendors, including selecting vendors/consultants and ensuring customer service levels are metReport performance trends and issues to Team LeadOtherSupport other departmental initiatives or other tasks assigned by Team LeadOrganize team building eventsBachelor’s degree required at the time of hiring; Master’s degree in computer science, business, data analytics/science, statistics, or another relevant topic is a plusInternship experience in risk management, retail or commercial banking in a large, complex financial institution and/or with big 4 accounting/consulting firm preferably in internal audit and/or external audit is preferredKnowledge of internal control environments and audit methodologies preferredExcellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills are requiredBilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese (both verbal and written) requiredUSD $50,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
