Prefer membership to the American Dietetic Association and/or professional members to a renal association i.e. CRN. u0026 Current state licensure.u003cbru003e•Must possess a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license and be insurable under Firelands' auto policy. u0026 Employee must provide proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage upon request.u003cbru003eu003cstrongu003eHours and compensation potential:u003c/strongu003eu003cbru003e•Position is full-time days Monday-Friday. No weekends or holidays. 8 hour days with flexible hours.u003cbru003e•Range starts at $56500 and goes up with experience.u003cbru003e•A full benefit package is offered.u0026 u003cbru003eu003cstrongu003eWhat you will be doing:u003c/strongu003eu003cbru003e•Under the direct supervision of the Director, the Clinical Dietitian plans, directs and provides nutritional care to patients, conducts nutrition assessments, and supervises the work of Food Production Supervisor directly related to clinical patient services.u003cbru003e•Interviews patients and/or family to obtain information regarding food habits and preferences for guidance in planning the patient’s diet as appropriate.u003cbru003e•Screens medical records for pertinent information and documents assessments as needed per established guidelines.u003cbru003e•Calculates diets for diabetic patients and other modified diets, and provides diet counseling for all patients on modified diets who require it.u003cbru003e•Assesses and calculates enteral and parenteral feedings.u003cbru003e•Charts appropriately in the patient's medical records after each patient contact, utilizing the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Process.u003cbru003e•Reviews cycle menus for patients prior to implementation. u0026 Reviews diet manual.u003cbru003e•Serves as a resource for foodservice staff to assist in providing accurate diets per documented order.u003cbru003e•Participates in Community Nutritional Programs.u003cbru003e•Participates in department performance improvement activities as assigned and attends required training.u003cbru003eu003cstrongu003eAdditional info:u003c/strongu003eu003cbru003e•The position is located on the shores of Lake Erie in north central Ohio and voted 'Best Coastal Small Town in America '.u003cbru003e•The position reports to the Director and work within a great team of caring, compassionate people.u0026 u003cbru003eIf you're a dedicated Dietitian seeking a rewarding career in a supportive healthcare environment, look no further.
