POSITION SUMMARY:Lazydays RV is looking for experienced RV Technicians to join our growing team! By offering the top selection of RV brands from the nation’s leading manufacturers, state-of-the-art service facilities, and thousands of accessories and hard-to-find parts, Lazydays RV provides everything RVers need and want.This position is responsible to prepare and repair coaches and document all work performed on a repair order.Why our Technicians Choose Lazydays:Aggressive performance Based Pay Plans- Guarantee 40-hour work weekPaid training- through Lazydays Career Technician ProgramThe Best Dealership Facilities in the AreaCompetitive health and wellness benefitsPaid vacation (yes, we are in the recreational sales and service industry)Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Fun work environment (really it is!)Growth opportunities- the growth of our teammates preserves our culture!Sponsorships in our local communities—ways for you to get involvedTuition Reimbursement planPaid OEM TrainingESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Manage work assignment including flag time, cause and correction documentation, escalation to supervisors when repair time will exceed allotted timeExperience performing Pre-Delivery Inspections to prepare an RV for customer deliveryKnowledge of electrical and electrical diagnosticsIncluding: 120AC and 12DCInverters and convertersBasic knowledge of AC electrical system theory and testingInspect and complete battery maintenancePerform engine and generator oil changesPerform chassis lubeBasic woodworking, cabinetry and skillsExperience inspecting, diagnosing and determining repair or replacement of all major systems and components found in an RVIncluding but not limited to: Brakes, hydraulic systems, air conditioners, furnaces, water heaters, refrigerators, stoves, plumbing, slides, jacks, and LP/propaneCompleting preventative maintenance on various RV componentsIncluding but not limited to: fuel filter, air filter, hydraulic filter, water separator, air dryer service, axle seals, slide & jacks, brakes, and exterior sealantExperience installing RV accessoriesIncluding but not limited to: Hitches, brake controllers, slide out toppers, satellites, furniture, awnings, back up cameras, Wi-Fi extenders, mattresses, appliances, and vent coversPerform tire & brake checksUnderstanding and compliance with OEM and vendor warranty proceduresBasic understanding of generator operation and maintenance proceduresMaintain a safe and clean work environmentEnsure the proper use, care and storage of all tools and equipmentProvide high level quality repairs on all work assignmentsAttend all company required meetings and trainingAdditional responsibilities as requested or required.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Minimum 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred RVIA certification helpful but not required Prior technical experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry is highly desiredValid Driver’s License and clean driving record to meet insurance requirementsProvide own tools (preferred)Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and writtenPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Availability to work more than 40 hours a week including nights, weekends, and whenever needed to meet business needsFlexibility to cover changing work schedules as neededAbility to lift to 70 poundsAbility to repeatedly bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, push and pullMust be able to stand / walk for extended periods of timePotential exposure to heights and hazardsExposure to environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetnessAbility to work in changing climates and work outside for extended periodsAbility to perform essential functions with or without accommodationEDUCATION:High School Diploma or equivalentUSD $18.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
