Scheduler/Reservationist Transdev in El Paso, Texas is hiring a Scheduler/Reservationist to intercept customer calls and schedule transportation. We are seeking friendly, customer service-oriented people who are dedicated to safety. Key Responsibilities: u2022 Answer customer calls and input ride information using a computerized scheduling system. u2022 Enter new customer information and changes into the system. u2022 Data entry into spreadsheets and databases. u2022 Communicate late vehicle service and verifying u201cNo Showsu201d with customers. u2022 Resolve service-related complaints. u2022 Create daily route maps of the reservations for the drivers. u2022 Other duties as required. Qualifications: u2022 High school diploma or GED required. u2022 2 years reservationist or customer service experience. u2022 Computer literate u2022 Excellent communication and listening skills. u2022 Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. u2022 Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to: u2022 Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. u2022 Sit for extended periods (up to 6u20138 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces u2022 Push and pull objects up to 10 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 10 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level u2022 Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
