Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflightAs part of a hardworking team, our customer experience intern will provide support to astronauts and guests before and during their stay at our launch site. The intern may have the opportunity to support other areas of our team's work including sales, media, and operations to ensure customer satisfaction.During your internship, you can expect to:Gain hands-on, real-world experience.Receive mentorship and feedback from mentors and managers.Participate in events to learn about other parts of Blue Origin.Responsibilities:Support all front and back of house hospitality operations in the business of launching humans into spaceLead long term projects related to event preparation, scheduling, organization, record keeping, and travel coordinationLead daily organizational efforts of astronaut clothing, collateral, and giftsProvide housekeeping services for Astronaut facilitiesShuttle astronauts and guests as needed during launchesMust be able to take initiative daily and be prepared with one's own ideas to find ways to contribute to the overall missionPrepare and aid in set-up of launch viewing parties, celebrations, news broadcasts, and press conferencesMaintain a positive attitude and contribute team spiritMust be ready and enthusiastic to step into any variety of rolesCollaborate with the Astronaut Village and Training Center departmentsQualifications:Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.Pursuing an undergraduate degree in hospitality or related fieldExperience in a high-end customer service, luxury hospitality, or event planning roleExceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detailHigh emotional intelligenceStrong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service capabilities and deliveryHave a valid driver's licenseEfficiency in high pressure situationsReadiness to travel 75% of time as neededWhen you apply, be sure to include your internship, co-curricular and research experience in your resume.
