We're looking for a Traveling Superintendent who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about sustainable energy, and takes pride in leading successful construction projects. If you're looking for a role where you can make a direct impact while working with a dynamic team, this is the job for you Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:Oversee the construction and installation of large-scale commercial solar projects from start to finish.Ensure quality control, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with industry standards.Lead and coordinate subcontractors, crew members, and suppliers to keep projects on track.Conduct safety meetings and enforce strict safety protocols to ensure a zero-incident job site.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to problem-solve and optimize site operations.Maintain daily reports, track progress, and communicate updates with leadership.What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry3+ years of experience in solar, electrical, or commercial construction supervision.3+ years of people leadership in commercial construction.Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback to enable growth and developmentStrong knowledge of solar PV systems, racking, foundations, and electrical infrastructure.Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and drive projects to completion.OSHA 30 certification or higher.Attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.Willingness to travel to anywhere in the United States to project sites as needed.PeopleFirst BenefitsWhen it comes to the basics, we have you covered:Competitive pay401(k) with employer match and profit-sharing planPaid time off and holidaysComprehensive medical, prescription, dental, and vision with low or zero deductible options and low out of pocket maximumsPeople come first at McKinstry, and we go beyond the basic benefits with:Family formation benefits, including adoption and IVF assistanceUp to 16 weeks paid parental leaveTransgender inclusive benefitsCommuter benefitsPet insurance
