Performs inspection of various project activities; generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities; Notifies management of significant problems; Completes documentation to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:Promote and comply with all Company safety policies and proceduresInspect and ensure the quality of work performed during the daily activities of the overall construction on large scale wind, solar, and industrial projects. Included but not limited to; roads, environmental (SWPPP), excavations, concrete, rebar, substations, transmission lines, solar racking and PV installation, underground utilities, wind turbine installation, steel erection, welding, piping, valves, pumps, compressors and a wide variety of other mechanical and electrical equipmentDemonstrates good organizational, planning and time management skillsMust plan and conduct daily activities in a highly organized manner to ensure all QC and QA data are properly and accurately recordedOn a daily basis monitor and record all work scope being executed and follow reporting criteria as determined by FQM and/or the client, as needed.Prevents deficiencies while working closely with field operating teams, through pre-construction quality control inspectionsDetects deficiencies and addressed deficiencies in a timely and effective mannerWork closely with the field quality staff acting as their field representative ensuring construction understands and follows the QA/QC requirementsInterface with field supervision to maintain an open line of communication and reporting monitor job progress, schedules and subcontractor performanceMaintain complete and accurate records during inspections so they can be transferred to permanent hard copy and/or electronic filesInspect the work and establish punch listsCapable of determining calibration status of measuring and test equipmentEnsures daily task schedules are met to meet the project scheduleInteracts cross-functionally with craft personnel and other team membersOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequirementsEducation and Work Experience Requirements:Associates degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related fieldOr High School Graduate or equivalent plus 1-3 years' experience in related construction fieldInspection related certifications (i.e., NDE) preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the company's Zero Injury principlesAbility to independently perform workSelf-starter, organized and have good interpersonal skillsRead, analyze and interpret blueprints and technical proceduresWrite daily reports and document project activitiesEffectively collect and record field data to assure activities are conforming to corporate Quality Control proceduresAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as area, circumference and volumeAbility to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometryAbility to solve problems individually and in a team settingWorking Environment:Regularly e
