Resident Project Representative

SLR International Corporation is seeking a Resident ProjectRepresentative to join its talented team based in Boston, Massachusetts.The candidate will be responsible for overseeing/managing medium tolarge size construction projects with a focus on road, bridge, utilityand water resource type projects. Specially there is a large fishpassage and dam repair project that will start construction fall of 2025in Plymouth Mass. The subject project is partially funded by the federalgovernment and oversight must conform to federal requirements. Inaddition the candidate may be requested to assist in interviewing forpotential future projects at the municipal and state levels. SLRprovides a wide range of construction-related services, private andpublic, including construction management, project administration, andconstruction observation/inspection. Full-time,permanent role with opportunities for professional growth andadvancement Key Responsibilities Provide Resident Project Representativeservices for Road, Bridge and Water Resource Construction ProjectsReview Contract Documents Coordinate with Clients and ContractorsPrepare records for oversight of construction Projects including dailyreports, testing protocols and necessary record keeping to comply withfunding source requirements. Prepare for and run project meetingsDevelop and maintain project records throughout construction Prepareapplications for payment and Change Orders Monitor, manage and executenecessary material testing Prepare project correspondence Reviewsubordinate inspection staff work including daily reports, computations,testing results, correspondence Coordinate with utility companies andvarious agencies of the industry as necessary Prepare for and present atinterviews for future work Required Qualifications Bachelor of Sciencedegree in Civil Engineering preferred Minimum of 10 years of experienceinspecting and administrating road and bridge construction projects,combination of municipal and MASS DOT experience will also be consideredFamiliarity with MASS DOT Standard Specifications ACI Concrete FieldTesting Technician Certification Grade I Preferred MASS PE or CCMpreferred Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite NETTCP Concrete and HMACertifications Preferred NETTCP Quality Assurance Technologistcertification a plus Ability to manage multiple tasks and or projectswith varying types of construction projects throughout the state of MA
