If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team. KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Engineer I, Systems Infra Admin to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.Responsibilities: Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications; resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions Recommend actions for fine tuning and capacity planning of existing systems; maintain up-to-date knowledge of new hardware and software developments; participate in the evaluation of alternative approaches and new software or modifications to enhance operations and development activities Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and address the impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure which includes the installation and testing of new enterprise system software, and hardware releases Participate in generation and/or implementation of new ideas for enhancements and improvements; work directly with users to prioritize requests and frequently update users to make certain that they are informed of progress and estimated delivery timeframe Effectively coordinate support escalation communication; participate in the development and maintenance of appropriate project technical documentation including design, configuration, installation, operational procedures, knowledge articles, user reference guides, and project plansQualifications: Minimum five years of recent experience in systems administrator, preferably in large Enterprise Level Data Centers; technical knowledge across various disciplines to resolve complex infrastructure integration issues, and problems, as well as interface with multiple vendors to coordinate resolution to both hardware and software problems Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to problems and issues; experience in various editions of ESX/VSphere, WindowsServer, Linux systems, and SANs Proficient in Aria Operations (custom reports, rightsizing, ServiceNow integration); Aria Automation for process automation using PowerShell and other scripting languages; Linux server support experience Experience with Cisco UCS,Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, Nutanix, XenServer, Proxmox, Vergio, AzureLocal, Hyper-V, and cloud VMware solutions (AVS, VMware on AWS, Google CloudVMware Engine); Experience with scripting languages like PHP,Python, Ruby, Perl, Node.JS, Bash, Understanding of implementation of systems at scale; Technical skills in Windows Server operating system, Linux Based systems and a working knowledge of SANs Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
