Pega Application Developer Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None The Opportunity: CACI is looking for a Pega Application Developer with a background in business process design, soft ware application design, development, unit testing and quality assurance to join our team supporting an important a Department of Justice agency in the National Capital Region. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team responsible for building and maintaining enterprise soft ware applications to meet business needs. The Pega Application Developer will be a member of an agile team, analyzing current business processes, configuring and building software applications using Pega 8, and ensuring the quality of the final solution. Candidates should have strong verbal and written communications skills. Responsibilities: u2022 Understand client business needs and requirements u2022 Understand the current system and how it functions u2022 Design and develop applications based on business requirement u2022 Upgrade and modify applications per business needs u2022 Identify and troubleshoot issues in a timely fashion u2022 Ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements and ensure to complete project within assigned timelines u2022 Provide support in system testing and bug fixing activities u2022 Be available for migrations (during non-standard business hours) Qualifications: _Required:_ u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Equivalent u2022 Minimum of 7 years of experience with case management system development u2022 Must have TS clearance u2022 Must be a US Citizen u2022 Pega System Architect Certification u2022 Pega 8 experience u2022 Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience u2022 Specialization in functional area (CRM, deployment, etc.) or industry domain expertise u2022 Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment u2022 Proven ability to mentor junior developers u2022 Available to report to client site in Washington, DC 5 times a week. _Desired:_ u2022 Familiarity with Agile Soft ware Development methodologies u2022 Certified Agile Practitioner is a plus u2022 Pega Senior System Architect Certification - ________________________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
