Solder Assembler

Masterite Division of DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is seeking experienced Solder Assemblers with the following qualifications: SUMMARY OF POSITION: With supervision prepare and solders electronic components onto Printer Circuit Boards (PCBs) according to specifications. Key Performance Indictors: List two to five measurable tasks that are key to indicating the performance level in this role: uf0b7 Perform basic SMT and thru hole hand component soldering per IPC-610 Class 3, J-Std-001 uf0b7 Operate hand and/or automatic tools safely. uf0b7 Lead forming of different types of electronic parts using hand tools and soldering stations on PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly. uf0b7 Work with leaded and lead- free solder. uf0b7 Basic ability to read PCB assembly drawings and related documents; ECNu2019s, assembly instructions. uf0b7 Utilize electrical and manual tools such as soldering iron, de-soldering equipment, and solder removal tools. uf0b7 Basic understanding of PCB assembly processes, component installation sequence of thru hole components. uf0b7 Maintains department specific records. uf0b7 Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications and Experience: uf0b7 High School Diploma or equivalent uf0b7 2+yrs Soldering experience u2013 must have fine pitch and through microscope. (Need to pass Soldering test) uf0b7 Soldering multiple components on a circuit board. uf0b7 Requires excellent speed and accuracy uf0b7 Familiarity with ovens, hot plates, hot air pencil, etc. uf0b7 Soldering Experience per IPC-610 Class 3, J-Std-001. uf0b7 Ability to Read & Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, Traveler/Routers, Bills of Material & Wire Lists. uf0b7 Able to use a microscope to solder for extended periods uf0b7 Dexterity, steady hand to manipulate and position extremely small devices. uf0b7 Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions and be detailed oriented. uf0b7 Maintain a clean, safe well organized work-station through routine housekeeping. uf0b7 Normal work time spent indoors uf0b7 A neat and tidy personal appearance must be maintained; u25e6Occasional periods of high levels of physical exertion needed, this includes heavy lifting (50+ lb.), walking, bending, pushing large loads, carrying, stooping, reaching, etc. DCX-CHOL Enterprises is a privately held American owned Small Business.
