Job Summary Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, a 654-bed, award-winning, four-time Magnetu00ae-recognized tertiary care hospital, located in the heart of Charlotte, NC, is seeking an experienced and visionary womenu2019s and childrenu2019s senior nurse leader to guide a high-performing healthcare team and help shape the future of nursing and patient care services. This role is a rare opportunity for a seasoned nurse leader with a strong background in operations, who can drive clinical excellence, inspire teams, foster teamwork and collaboration, and deliver exceptional patient outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrixed environment. The Director of Nursing for Womenu2019s and Childrenu2019s is responsible for 24/7 clinical operations and oversees a broad, dynamic portfolio of programs and nursing units. These include labor and delivery, mother/baby, high-risk maternity, GYN medical/surgical, a level IV NICU, pediatric medical/surgical, PICU, pediatric intermediate care, regional lactation services, and child life. This visible senior leadership role manages five direct-report managers, several administrative support team members, and approximately 350 indirect staff members. The Director collaborates with stakeholders across departments and facilities to coordinate clinical services and provides strategic insight at both the system and regional levels.
