JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Healthcare Analyst III The HealthcareAnalyst III serves as a strategic analytics partner supporting Medica'sLines of Business (LOB), including Medicare, Medicaid, Individual andFamily Business (IFB), and Commercial. This role is responsible forleading the development and delivery of analytics across allLOBs-providing insights, reporting, and strategic recommendations todrive business performance. The ideal candidate combines stronganalytics acumen with consultative and communication skills to influencedecision-making across diverse business units. Responsibilities: Act asa subject matter expert on healthcare analytics, providing advancedguidance on the interpretation and application of complex medical andpharmacy data. Lead the development of analytic frameworks that supportclient strategies, affordability initiatives, and operationalperformance improvement. Collaborate with internal stakeholders totranslate business questions into analytic approaches aligned withstrategic goals. Proactively identify emerging trends and opportunitiesthrough data exploration and advise leadership on implications andrecommended actions. Serve as a key liaison between analytics andbusiness teams, ensuring that insights are actionable, relevant, andintegrated into decision-making processes. Translate complex data intoclear, actionable insights and recommendations for businessstakeholders. Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting andanalytic outputs. Respond to ad hoc analysis requests with timely,accurate, and insightful deliverables. Support internal teams with datainterpretation, metric development, and performance tracking.Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the broader business.Expectations: Advanced working knowledge of healthcare analytics,affordability metrics, and medical/pharmacy data trends. Proficiency inSQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and statisticalmethods. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SQL,Python, R) and Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated ability toextract, evaluate, and interpret complex data sets with stronganalytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearlyand concisely to diverse audiences. Experience working bothindependently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Ability tofunction as a subject matter expert and mentor to other staff. Presentfindings to executive leaders, tailoring insights to strategicpriorities. Employ best practices in storytelling and visualization todrive engagement and understanding.
