JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Purpose The Supervisor, Underground FacilitiesLocation, is responsible for leading and coordinating a team of fieldtechnicians and external contractors to ensure safe, accurate, andtimely locating and marking of underground gas and electric distributionfacilities. This position safeguards company assets, ensures public andworker safety, mitigates third-party damage risk, and supportsregulatory compliance. The role also drives continuous improvement inlocating operations, technology integration, and team development. KeyResponsibilities Field Operations: Oversee daily activities of fieldlocating technicians, ensuring timely, safe, and compliant locateresponses, including emergencies; perform all underground facilitydamage investigations. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as liaisonwith third-party vendors and internal departments to ensure servicequality and resolve issues. Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and developfield staff; implement training and succession plans while promoting aculture of safety and excellence. Process & Performance Management:Analyze performance data, report on asset protection metrics, and drivecontinuous improvement through new technologies. Regulatory Compliance:Ensure adherence to relevant laws and policies; represent the company inindustry discussions and policy development. Competencies DrivesResults: Consistently achieves goals, even under tough circumstances.Tech Savvy: Embraces and leverages technology to improve efficiency andaccuracy. Manages Ambiguity: Operates effectively, even when things arenot certain or the way forward is unclear. Skills In-depth knowledge of undergroundutility locating methods and equipment. Proficiency in interpretingengineering plans, GIS data, and schematic diagrams. Strong leadership,conflict resolution, and coaching skills. Excellent written and verbalcommunication across all levels of the organization. Competency with MSOffice Suite; working knowledge of GIS, CAD, and utility mapping systemsis a plus. Ability to evaluate and deploy new technologies to improvefield operations. Physical Requirements Ability to work in an outdoorenvironment and be exposed to various weather conditions. Capable ofwalking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs during fieldvisits. Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies and on-callrotations. Must be able to operate company vehicles and equipmentsafely. Education High school diploma or equivalent required.Associate's or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, UtilityOperations, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.Experience Minimum 5...
