JOB REQUIREMENTS: Director of Gas Engineering, Planning, and ComplianceJob Purpose The Director of Gas Engineering, Planning, and Complianceprovides high-level strategic leadership, setting long-term directionfor the gas distribution system while ensuring safety and regulatorycompliance is embedded in all planning, design, and operationaldecisions. This role drives organizational strategy to meet evolvingregulatory requirements, industry standards, and stakeholderexpectations. Focused on strategic vision to ensure the safe, reliable,and cost-effective delivery of natural gas services, proactivelyaddressing compliance risks and shaping policies to support sustainablegrowth, operational integrity, and community trust. Establish and maintain along-term vision for the gas distribution network, ensuring alignmentwith corporate goals and regulatory mandates. Foster a culture ofoperational excellence and innovation that fully integrates regulatorycompliance into organizational strategies, policies, and practices.Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure financial, operational,and safety objectives are met while mitigating compliance risk. Developstrategies to anticipate and address emerging regulatory trends,industry changes, and stakeholder expectations. Build organizationalcapability and lead cultural change initiatives that strengthenoperational integrity and public trust. Represent the organization withregulatory bodies, industry associations, and key stakeholders toinfluence policy and industry standards.
