Electrical Project Manager

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCEIN THIS POSITION: Manage a portfolio of projects varying in size andvalue, ensuring each project's success from inception to post-delivery.Design Coordination: Evaluate sales handoff packages to verify designaccuracy, scope alignment, and feasibility. Direct the creation andapproval of Structural Design Packages, leading a team of CAD andStructural Design Engineers. Collaborate with the Lead ElectricalEngineer to develop Electrical Design Packages, ensuring customerrequirements are fully integrated. Change and Quality Management:Process and implement feedback from customers, professional engineers,and state approval bodies, issuing precise redlines to CAD teams forrevision. Facilitate quality control checklists and reviews to ensurereadiness before production starts. Supply Chain and Scheduling: Monitorlead times and delivery schedules for critical non-stock items,proactively addressing potential delays with the purchasing team.Provide regular schedule updates to customers, including delaynotifications or adjustments for accelerated timelines. Production andDelivery Coordination: Partner with shop supervisors to ensure on-timeproduction and high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with Site and DeliveryCoordinators to arrange transportation, secure necessary permits, andensure safe delivery to customer sites. Customer Service: Serve as theprimary customer liaison for all post-delivery service issues, includingHVAC performance, missing materials, or transport-related damage. Trackand manage service tickets through resolution, ensuring timely andeffective customer support. Change Order Management: Prepare and issuechange orders, working with the Estimating Department and LeadElectrical Engineer to provide customers with updated pricing and scopeadjustments. Provide support to the Finance team as they rectifyaccounts and purchase orders.
