Courier Non DOT

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Driver/operator of company vehicles. Providescourteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checksshipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and providesrelated customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated bysection 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performsother duties as assigned. Minimum Education High School Diploma/GED.Minimum Experience None Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to lift50 Lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. withappropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good humanrelations and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age.Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently tounderstand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials andto respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSAenforcement guidance. Job Conditions Non-covered safety-sensitiveposition. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Ability towork in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.Must belicensed for type of vehicle assigned.
