JOB REQUIREMENTS: MSA is seeking a motivated Mechanical EngineeringIntern to join our team and contribute to the design of HVAC systems forcommercial and industrial buildings. This role is onsite at either ourMilwaukee, Mequon or Madison WI offices. MSA internships are typicallyat least 12 weeks in duration, ranging from mid-May 2026 to mid-August2026, with start/exit dates confirmed later in the hiring process. Whatyou will do: Assist in the design and analysis of HVAC systems,including load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork/pipinglayout. Support engineers in preparing technical drawings,specifications, and reports. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teamsto integrate HVAC systems into overall building design. Participate insite visits and project meetings to gain practical field experience.Conduct research on new technologies, codes, and industry bestpractices. The salary for this position ranges from $21 to $25 peryear commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this rangewill be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptionalqualifications. Stronginterest in HVAC systems and building design. Proficiency in AutoCAD,Revit, or similar design software preferred. Solid understanding ofthermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. Excellentcommunication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The selectedcandidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
