PositionOverview The Staff Non-Clinical Biostatistician (Biostatistician IV)applies strong statistical and computational skills to participate inthe development, validation, and support of genomic biomarker assays.This role directly partners with thought leaders in the design,analysis, reporting, and internal publication of reports pertaining toanalytical validation and process monitoring. This position requiresin-depth understanding of methods of analytical validation and processcontrol. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical andcommunication skills and a leadership mindset. Essential Duties Include,but are not limited to, the following: Perform statistical activities insupport of development of experimental and study design and protocol,data analysis, methods of process surveillance, preparation of studyreports, serve as subject matter expert in service of regulatorysubmissions, and liaise with departments throughout Exact. Represent thestatistics function on project teams for product development programs,providing strategic input and contributing significantly to the designof analytical validation studies and the development plan. Work onsignificant and unique issues. Exercise independent judgment inselecting and adapting methods appropriate for the specific objective.Use professional concepts and principles to achieve objectives increative and effective ways. Mentor and support the activities withinthe organization for the development of methods of analytical validationand process control. Partner with statistical collaborators. Applyknowledge of theoretical and applied statistics. Apply strongstatistical programming and analysis skills in industry standardanalysis software, e.g., SAS, R, Python. Apply excellent oral, written,and presentation skills. Communicate professionally and effectivelythroughout all levels of the organization. Ability to work effectivelyin a multi-disciplinary team including scientists, pathologists,oncologists, and representatives from commercial, legal, andbusiness...
