Majorteaching responsibilities for medical students, residents, and fellowsin the operating room, and didactic sessions. Primary emphasis ofteaching will be in general anesthesia procedures and techniques, or inarea of subspecialty training. Provision of clinical anesthetic care tosurgical patients (i.e. working in the operating room, plus evening andweekend call) in an anesthesia team model or personally performedanesthesia. Opportunity for participation in clinical research forinterested candidates. This position is full or part-time FTE 100-75%This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designatedcampus work location Applicants for this position will be considered forthe titles: Professor (CHS) Contact with vulnerable populations that arenon-minors (does not pertain to physicians/providers who work withminors): This position has been identified as a position of trust withaccess to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will berequired to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible foremployment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years. KeyJob Responsibilities: An essential part of these duties will be workingin a collegial relationship with other faculty members. The chosenapplicant will participate in administrative, and committee work tosupport the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the Schoolof Medicine and Public Health.
