How you will contribute:Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences andanalyze financial data Preparing individual, corporate, partnership, orother tax returns Calculating tax extension or estimating paymentsParticipating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners andmanagers We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:Effective time management Strong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work well with a team as well as independentlyProblem-solving attitude Willingness to take initiative Close attentionto detail Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines MinimumQualifications: Associate positions require a bachelor's or master'sdegree in accounting Associate candidates must be pursuing the educationrequirements to be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in thestate in which the office is located for this position. Completion ofrequired academic credits (150 credit hours) must be met prior to thestart date listed for this role. Associates must be eligible to sit forthe CPA exam in the state in which your office will be located Solidtechnical accounting knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteMust have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office andbe able to attend off-site meetings and events in person PreferredQualifications: Prior internships in a public accounting firm performingtax work Applicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legallyauthorized to work in the United States.
