JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description POSITION PURPOSE: Ensure that all guests'needs are exceeded by maintaining all aspects of the restaurant andoutlets. This includes enhancing the dining experience through makingmeaningful connections, overall atmosphere, meeting cleanlinessstandards, and going above guest expectations at all times. ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS: Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and disciplinerestaurant staff. Organize and conduct pre-shift and monthlydepartmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff,such as house count and menu changes. Schedule and direct staff in theirwork assignment. Interact with customers to promote hotel facilities andservices. Resolve problems to ensure guest satisfaction. Monitorrestaurant, bar, In Room Dining, Club Lounge and kitchen areas. Takeaction when necessary to ensure food quality and service standards aremet. Check preparation methods, judge appearance and taste of productsto determine quality. Give suggestions for improvement and makenecessary adjustments. Scheduling and conducting regular one-on-onemeetings with team members to facilitate clear communication, addressconcerns, and proactively resolve operational or personnel issues.Control payroll and equipment costs. Ensure stock levels are maintainedby calculating inventory, ordering and retrieving supplies. Maintainhouse bank. Ability to understand financial documents (included the P&Lstatement) and make operations changes as necessary. Utilize POScomputer to accurately charge customers and generate revenue reports.Understand computer systems in order to learn complex series ofkeypunches to program system in necessary. Implement and maintaincleanliness standards in all areas. Maintaining a high level ofprofessional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and self-image with yourselfas well as subordinates. Administering sales promotions programs andemployee sales incentive programs. Daily tracking of emails, payroll, Qtimes, post shifts and other assigned duties. Other duties assigned bysupervisor/manager. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Experience with Food &Beverage operations Basic math skills in order to track inventory,revenue, payroll, etc. Ability to work entire shift standing and movingabout in restaurants and kitchen areas. Ability to read, write, andcommunicate effectively in English language, to understand internaldocuments, and to interact effectively with guests and employees.Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, someof whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy todefuse emotions, collect accurate information and resolve. High schooldiploma required. College degree not required but equal work experiencerequired. Additional language ability preferred.
