We are seeking a Director of Business Development whowill focus on growing our presence and partnerships within the thrivingK-12 and higher education sectors. This strategic leader will play a keyrole in client acquisition, relationship management, and marketexpansion, helping to shape Findorff's future by aligning businessdevelopment efforts with our overall growth goals. Key Responsibilities:Cultivate meaningful relationships with key decision-makers in theeducation market, architects, and engineers. Expand our client basethrough strategic outreach, referrals, and retention initiatives. Leadeducation specific business development planning and collaborate withexecutive leadership to identify opportunities, set priorities, andstrengthen Findorff's position in the market. Oversee the full pursuitlifecycle from lead tracking to RFQ/RFP development and interviewpreparation. Coach internal teams and ensure materials and messagingreflect our value and experience in the education market. Guide targetedmarketing initiatives and leverage your expertise to promote ourservices, highlight client success stories, and strengthen our brandvisibility. Represent Findorff at industry and civic events and stayvisible through active participation in associations and professionalcommunities. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in businessdevelopment or related fields, ideally in K-12 or higher educationconstruction or AEC industry. A forward-thinking mindset with theability to identify opportunities, develop plans, and execute themeffectively. Skilled in public speaking, business writing, andpresentations, with the ability to guide and inspire both internal andexternal partners. Proven track record of building trusted, long-lastingpartnerships. A team player who values cross-functional collaborationand contributes to an inclusive workplace. Comfortable using CRM toolsand other systems to manage leads and maintain client data. Education &Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5+ years inbusiness development or related field, with a proven record of success5+ years of education or construction-related...
