Foley & Lardner LLP's Madison office is currently lookingfor an Assistant to join their Business Law department. The rightcandidate will provide legal assistance to attorneys in the dailyoperation of practicing law by providing quality work product forclients, with a focus on the Estates and Trust practice. The Assistantwill perform legal and administrative support duties requiring soundjudgment, critical thinking, project management and advancedorganizational skills, as well as strong proofreading and formattingskills. Successful candidates must have exceptional communication andadministrative skills and be highly organized, confidential, proactive,detail-oriented; have a willingness to learn and work effectively withina team environment. Responsibilities Assist attorneys by providingadministrative assistance with a high level of confidentiality throughthe performance of duties including: client communication, documentpreparation, scheduling, meeting planning and coordination municate attorney's instructions to various individuals and furnishand obtain information from other attorneys within the practice areaCreate, organize and maintain client files, follow up on pending mattersand perform routine filing and retrieve files when requested Maintainphysical and electronic client, research and administrative filesutilizing NetDocs Anticipate attorney's needs and prepare necessarydocumentation in draft for attorney's review, including miscellaneouscorrespondence Interact professionally and promptly with clients,internal and external parties and respond to questions as necessaryPerform complex clerical duties relating to specific functions andrequirements as set forth within practice groups using the firm standardMicrosoft Office Suite programs and other applicable software Providedocument production services, including styling and formatting ofdocuments, proofing, imaging including the use of firm providedresources to maximize efficiency Enter new client matter information andsubmit conflict check(s) through OPEN, prepare engagement letters Manageincoming and outgoing mail...
