WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCEIN THIS POSITION: Develop weekly production requirements formanufacturing operations with daily detail as the need arises byproduction scheduling process. Conducts weekly scheduling meeting toreview previous production performance and to gain plant alignmentaround future production requirements. Communicates schedule changes,maintenance requirements, shut downs, and training needs that effectfuture production plans to corporate planning and logistics. Develop andcommunicate daily production plans to all departments and keeps staffinformed of any changes or updates as needed. Develop daily and weeklyactual versus scheduled communication and performance reporting.Coordinates the initial production requirements for new products with QAand corporate R&D. Analyze and review the manufacturing schedule andcommunicate opportunities to improve the balance of cost and serviceamong raw materials, conversion, and finished good costs. Development ofconcepts for the optimization of tools, operating resources andproduction processes. Develop daily production plans that optimally leadlabor and enable plant efficiency targets to be achieved. YOU HAVE:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. 3+ yearsof manufacturing, planning and/or scheduling experience preferred.Proficient in MRP, Epicor and/or SyteLine are a plus. Statistical andspreadsheet analytical skills. Proficiency with Excel and Access. Strongknowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and customer service. Stronginterpersonal and communication skills. Strong service-minded attitudewith a hunger, drive and tenacity to own and improve processes.
