The lung transplantprogram at the University of Wisconsin Madison, established in 1988, hasperformed over 1000 lung transplants. Our innovation and expertiseresult in the shortest wait list times in the region, wait listmortality below the national average and a long history of exceptionalpatient outcomes. The University of Wisconsin Hospital serves as one ofonly three lung transplant centers for the VA Health system. OurAdvanced Lung Disease program includes Cystic Fibrosis, PulmonaryHypertension, and Severe Obstructive Lung Disease, and spans inpatient,general ward and Intensive Care Unit. This position is full time, 100%This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite,at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performedremotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. This position hasbeen identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerablepopulations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initialcaregiver check to be eligible for employment under the WisconsinCaregiver Law and repeated every four years. Applicants for thisposition will be considered for the titles: Clinical Associate Professoror Clinical Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (CHS) orAssistant Professor (CHS). The title is determined by the experience andqualifications of the finalist.
