They develop strongworking relationships with clients built on understanding theirbusinesses and challenges. Interns work on multiple team engagementseach year, including several pieces of any particular assignment - notjust one part. Working in a mutually respectful team environment helpsour associates perform at their best and integrate their career withtheir personal life. Examples of the candidate's responsibilitiesinclude: Understanding clients' needs and expectations, their businessand industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company valuesand industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues Developing an understanding ofthe RSM audit approach and tools Assessing risks and evaluating theclient's internal control structure Performing substantive tests andtests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting orreporting issues Drafting financial statements under prescribed formatsBasic Qualifications: 90 credit hours completed Working towards B.A. /B.S. degree or equivalent from accredited university Accounting majorTravel to assigned client locations is required.
