Operategeneral stationary and portable x-ray equipment. Assist with proceduresincluding patient care, equipment settings, and equipmenttroubleshooting. Perform cross sectional imaging such as CT and/or MRI.Perform x-rays on large, small, and exotic patients. The anticipatedschedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 5:30pm with a30-minute unpaid lunch.Key Job Responsibilities: Perform fluoroscopyexams and mobile x-ray on patients as needed Transportspatients/participants within department, to and from waiting area, asrequired Performs imaging studies on large and small animals Prepares,assesses, and observes patient/participant for procedures and possiblereactions or outcomes Cleans and disinfects patient/participant roomsand equipment to maintain highest quality safety and cleanlinessstandards Follows prescribed techniques in administering general andspecific x-rays, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), or other radiologicscanning procedures. Adjusts equipment, determines proper voltage,current and desired exposure time, arranges immobilization and supportdevices to obtain position of patient/participant, adjusts lead shieldsto protect unaffected parts of the patient's/participant's body,adjusts cone to direct concentration of rays on specific area, andselects proper film Troubleshoots and reports equipment problems tosupervisor Performs radiologic procedures as assigned adhering toprescribed techniques Processes images, film, and/or other scanningdocumentation in accordance to guidelines and photographic technique.Performs quality control activities to ensure optimal qualityradiographs Performs cross-sectional studies and administration oftracersDepartment: School...
