As a Staff SoftwareEngineer, this extremely seasoned professional will demonstratecompetence and creativity in a wide range of technical areas. This rolewill have a lead role in the design, development, and testing ofmultiple complex software applications for Exact Sciences, creatingexpert design concepts and foolproof debugging. This role will beexpected to operate as part of a team, communicate effectively withbusiness stakeholders and mentor junior team members. This role willroutinely make key decisions for the team, be accountable forapplication quality, and set high standards for personal productivity.This role's skills and work are critical to driving company objectivesand achieving goals for the organization. Working in our SoftwareEngineering teams, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing,and sustaining software systems in a cross-functional team environmentthrough adherence to established design control processes and goodengineering practices. You will design and create engineeringspecifications for building software programs based on a broad knowledgeof information systems and determine what development methodology to useafter documenting software requirements. Essential Duties Include, butare not limited to, the following: Has in-depth understanding and workson a wide range of issues while applying advanced knowledge, skills, andpractices to diverse programs and initiatives demonstrating creativityand mastery of specialized techniques, processes, procedures. Exerciseindependent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria forobtaining results. Troubleshoot issues and problems of high complexityfor major software applications; break down complex tasks, alternatives,problems, and solutions with an eye on limiting the need for...
