We arelooking for candidates with a track record of clinical excellence andacademic contributions as demonstrated through training and/or practiceexperience. This position is full or part-time, 50%-100% This positionrequires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus worklocation. Contact with vulnerable populations that are non-minors (doesnot pertain to physicians/providers who work with minors): This positionhas been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerablepopulations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initialcaregiver check to be eligible for employment under the WisconsinCaregiver Law and every four years. Applicants for this position will beconsidered for the titles: Professor (CHS), Associate Professor (CHS),or Assistant Professor (CHS). The title is determined by the experienceand qualifications of the finalist. Key Job Responsibilities: Clinicalexpectations include providing clinical service to pediatric livertransplant and pediatric liver and GI patients, both in the pediatricliver clinic and pediatric liver transplant clinics. Inpatient serviceis shared between all providers within the division. Provide pre-op andpost-op care to pediatric liver transplant patients. Participate inclinical teaching of fellows, residents and medical students, andsupport the teaching and clinical research missions of the division anddepartment. Physicians hired on the Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) trackwill participate in administrative and committee work to support theclinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicineand Public Health.
